Hello and welcome to the July edition of Pat’s Space. This month, I wanted to have a little fun with a new resource called Paper Critters. It allows you to create custom paper figures which can be used in absolutely any way depending on how imaginative you can be!
Personally, I’ve chosen to make Paper Critters for one of my favourite bands, the Beastie Boys from New York City. I’ve used Paper Critters to create a music video but they could easily be used to explain teaching concepts.
It is an extremely fun way for kids to work with 3D shapes in a hands-on environment. For this edition of Pat’s Space, I’ve used the 3D figures to create a stop motion video which could be very interesting in the classroom!
