Introducing the Ninja. No, not the stealthy, weapon wielding kind; although it would be a pretty deadly weapon if used in that manner…
This little beauty is something I saw during my recent trip to NAB. They had one of the busiest stands at the show and it was generating a lot of interest. The Ninja is a portable touchscreen professional 10bit HD recorder, monitor, and playback device that captures pristine video and audio direct from any camera with a clean HDMI output. It encodes in real-time to the visually-lossless Apple ProRes format, onto low-cost, removable 2.5” hard disks in Apple ProRes.
I loved this handy product because it’s small and complete and will extend the recording time of the camera it is connected to as well as becoming a reference monitor. You can record directly onto this unit, remove the hard drive, and plug it into a dock that is connected directly to your computer and start transferring and editing immediately.
The Ninja is a cost effective solution, it’s easy to use and provides longer recording than solid state cards. It also has the ability to connect to any camera that has a HDMI out on it, with a HDSDI model coming in September.
This product would be suited to the Wedding and Corporate video markets, as well as any Education facilities looking to record for longer periods of time than solid state cards allow.
We are soon to have this great product on display in our showroom, so feel free to give me a call and book in a demonstration. For more information on the Ninja, check out their website here or give me a call on 07 3250 0000 or email email@example.com
